Theodore P. Druch was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1939. He received a BA from the University of Wisconsin, an MA from Brandeis University. He went on to an even “higher” education as part of the Psychedelic commune begun by Timothy Leary at Millbrook, NY., an experience about which he has written in his “true novel, Timothy Leary and the Mad Men of Millbrook. At the age of 58, he and his partner, Maria Ruiz ran away from home to see the world. They visited 56 countries and lived in several for extended periods of time. Today, he lives in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico where he is an active member of the Puerto Vallarta Writers Group. He and Maria conduct a weekly workshop for serious writers, and he was Chairman for the 7th Annual Puerto Vallarta International Writers Conference in 2012.
